Long Hair FUE — the no-shave hair transplant — is performed personally by Dr El Cadhi, ISHRS Full Member, in Djerba.
What is Long Hair FUE?
An advanced variant of FUE carried out without shaving the donor or the recipient area. The grafts are harvested with their hair shaft intact, then re-implanted while the hair keeps its length (also known as non-shaven FUE or U-FUE).
Can you leave the same day with a normal hairstyle?
Yes: as the hair is not shaved, the patient leaves the practice the same day with a normal-looking hairstyle.
Who is it particularly suited to?
Mainly women, highly visible professions (media, sales, public-facing roles) and patients seeking complete discretion.
How does it differ from classic FUE?
Classic FUE requires shaving the donor area to visualise each follicular unit; Long Hair FUE extracts the grafts with the shaft intact, without prior shaving.
Is it a more demanding technique?
Yes: it requires advanced skills and a longer operating time than standard FUE (Umar et al., 2023).
Who performs the procedure?
Dr El Cadhi personally performs: consultation, hairline design, anaesthesia, FUE harvesting (punch), sapphire incisions and DHI implantation. His medical assistants step in only for post-incision extraction, sorting and trimming of the grafts under the microscope, and insertion with the K.E.E.P. implanter into the incisions previously opened by the physician.
How can you see a result before deciding?
A 3D simulation (ForceHT) gives an indicative preview before the procedure.
Results depend on each patient’s individual profile and cannot be predicted with certainty.
